Nne, a former housemate on Big Brother Naija, wrote a heartfelt ode to Martins Ifesinachi Onyekesi, better known as Fish Magnet, who passed away shortly after being kidnapped.
Nne characterized Fish Magnet as intelligent, attentive, kind, and a great buddy in an Instagram post.
She commended Fish Magnet’s spirit of entrepreneurship, saying that his determination and enthusiasm for his work were admirable.
Nne said that the many calls he made every day to guarantee the success of his business endeavors, especially Fish Magnet and Magnet Group, demonstrated Fish Magnet’s commitment to them.
Nne, however, expressed his shock and grief at Fish Magnet’s premature passing, attributing it to the nation’s insecurity.
Nne concluded by saying that Fish Magnet’s legacy will live on in their hearts, and he will forever be remembered as a giant and a firebrand who left a lasting impression.
She wrote: “RIP Martins Ifesinachi Onyekesi Martins!! Martins!!!!!!!!!!!
“You were thoughtful, you were too considerate, you were too smart, you were a friend in need!!
“A man of pure, raw zeal to make an impact in society through your enterprising work. You worked way too hard and well not to enjoy the fruits of your labour. Martins, you wanted to grow Fish Magnet @fishmagnett and Magnet Group so big! You were so driven that I would look up to you and be gingered to go about my own business with the same passion and energy, Endless calls almost every moment of the day because you knew running a business in Nigeria without being present was not going to be the best option, You poured your heart into your craft and finally started getting all the accolades you wanted,
“But the evil ones struck and took you away in the wicked way possible. So you are truly gone? So, insecurity in this country has happened to my friend? I won’t see you get married? I won’t see your children? We won’t go on vacations and gist about old times? This wasn’t the plan! A GIANT HAS FALLEN
“A firebrand is gone. Our love for you knows no bounds; you are forever imprinted in our hearts. All the memories we shared are too real to be forgotten. Rest in perfect peace, my dearest friend. Till we meet to part no more. Love, NNE”.
