Nigerian music star Mayorkun has got fans talking after sharing new photos featuring Big Brother Naija Season 10 runner-up Dede, with their growing on-screen chemistry sparking conversations across social media.
The November 5 post appears to be part of the promotional campaign for Mayorkun’s latest single, ‘Home Training,’ which was released alongside its official music video on October 30. The video features Dede as the female lead, marking an exciting appearance for the reality TV star in the singer’s latest musical project.
In the newly shared photos, Mayorkun and Dede are seen enjoying each other’s company, sharing drinks and striking relaxed poses together. Their comfortable interaction has caught the attention of fans, many of whom have been quick to notice the apparent chemistry between the two celebrities.
While some fans are simply celebrating Dede’s appearance in the music video, others have taken their excitement a step further by playfully shipping the pair and suggesting that they would make a lovely couple.
However, neither the pictures nor their interactions confirm any romantic relationship between the singer and the reality star. For now, their connection appears to be part of the creative collaboration surrounding the new single.
Beyond the social media buzz, ‘Home Training’ is also enjoying an impressive performance on streaming platforms. The song has climbed an impressive 102 positions on Spotify Nigeria to reach No. 24, suggesting that listeners are increasingly embracing the track.
The growing streaming numbers, combined with the attention generated by Dede’s appearance, are giving the song additional momentum as Mayorkun continues to push the project.
Meanwhile, fans have another reason to look forward to the singer’s upcoming release. Mayorkun is preparing to drop his highly anticipated EP, ‘Long Live, The Mayor!’ on November 30.
With ‘Home Training’ gaining traction and Dede’s involvement generating plenty of online conversations, Mayorkun appears to be building excitement ahead of the EP release.
Whether fans are streaming the song for its catchy sound or simply enjoying the chemistry between Mayorkun and Dede, one thing is clear: their collaboration has successfully captured social media attention.
What do you think about Mayorkun and Dede’s chemistry? Do they make a cute pair, or is it simply good music-video chemistry?
