Former Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Yusuf Muhammad-Awal is giving fans another reason to admire him after sharing a fresh set of photos that have put his looks back in the spotlight. The reality TV star is also preparing for another chapter in his acting career, with an upcoming movie featuring Nollywood actress Sonia Uche.
Yusuf’s latest appearance has drawn attention from admirers, with his fans celebrating his looks and confidence.
One enthusiastic reaction summed up the excitement:
“Handsomeness wants to wound Yusuf shaa… He knows he is fine as hell.”
Beyond the compliments, however, the former housemate appears focused on making his return to the entertainment industry count.
Yusuf Is Returning to His First Love
Although many viewers became familiar with Yusuf through BBNaija, acting was already part of his professional journey before the reality show.
Following his eviction in September 2026, he spoke about his desire to take his acting career to a bigger stage.
In an interview with TheCable Lifestyle, Yusuf revealed that he hoped to feature in cinema productions, YouTube movies and projects across other streaming platforms.
He also spoke about working to improve his craft as he pursued more opportunities in the film industry.
During another interview with TVC News in October, he reaffirmed his intention to return to acting while also maintaining his interests in farming, writing and public speaking.
New Movie With Sonia Uche on the Way
Yusuf is also expected to appear in an upcoming movie alongside Nollywood actress Sonia Uche.
The project is another opportunity for him to reconnect with the acting industry and introduce himself to audiences beyond his reality television following.
Sonia Uche is an established Nollywood actress and producer known for her work in films such as Frank’s Wife, Love in Chaos and Unwritten Vows.
With the upcoming collaboration, fans will have another opportunity to see Yusuf explore his acting abilities alongside an experienced screen performer.
Further details about the movie, including its title and release date, are yet to be confirmed.
Life After Big Brother
Yusuf’s journey after BBNaija reflects the different opportunities available to contestants once they leave the reality show.
While his time in Biggie’s house introduced him to a wider audience, his latest moves suggest that he is keen to build on his existing career rather than remain known only as a reality TV personality.
From attracting compliments over his latest appearance to preparing for another acting project, Yusuf seems ready to make his presence felt beyond Biggie’s house. And with a movie alongside Sonia Uche on the horizon, fans have another reason to look forward to his next move.
