The drama continues to unfold on Big Brother Mzansi as the house said goodbye to two more contestants, Tumi the Barber and Ramona, during a tense eviction night that kept viewers on the edge of their seats.
On Sunday, 22 February 2026, emotions ran high as the remaining housemates gathered in anticipation, bracing themselves for the announcement that would change the course of the game.
One by one, names were called — until it was revealed that Tumi the Barber would be the second housemate to exit the competition for the night.
The announcement was met with visible shock, both inside the house and among fans watching at home.
Despite the disappointment, Tumi handled the moment with composure. Speaking to host Smash Afrika shortly after his eviction, the 28-year-old barber and dancer admitted that the outcome had caught him completely off guard. “It is what it is,” he said, shrugging off the setback with a mix of acceptance and optimism.
However, what seemed to excite him most about leaving the game was the prospect of reuniting with his love interest, Buhle B. When asked whether he was looking forward to finally seeing his “bae” again, Tumi responded with a nervous laugh before enthusiastically declaring, “Hell yeah!”
Their romance had been one of the season’s most talked-about storylines — a passionate, weeks-long connection that unfolded under the constant scrutiny of fellow housemates and viewers alike.
Buhle’s time in the house was marked by tension, particularly with other female contestants she believed had their eyes on Tumi. Among them was her outspoken rival, returning contestant Liema Pantsi, whom she confronted over what she perceived as a growing closeness with her man.
After Buhle’s eviction on 8 February, she was left to confront the possibility that Tumi might move on in her absence — and viewers were quick to speculate when they noticed him forming a noticeably closer bond with Liema in the weeks that followed. Social media buzzed with predictions of a new “ship” brewing in the house.
But any potential twist in that storyline came to an abrupt end when Tumi was evicted from the Bazozwa house. Though he jokingly admitted he does not even have Buhle’s phone number, he made it clear that he intends to reconnect — and possibly reignite what they once shared.
With Ramona also exiting the competition the same night, the dynamics in the house are set to shift once again. As alliances tighten and romantic storylines take unexpected turns, BBMzansi viewers will undoubtedly be watching closely to see what unfolds next.
Tumi the Barber explains attraction to Liema, Buhle and Dene
Speaking on the “player” reputation he built in the house, Tumi the Barber touched on the three connections he made and why only one worked out.
When asked about his time with Liema Pantsi, Tumi said it was all a game to get ahead, revealing that he never truly connected with her.
"It was just a game. I was trying to get into her head because that's what she does with a lot of people. It was nothing."Tumi revealed that he is someone who is intentional and knows the kind of woman he wants, and Liema was not that woman.
"I'm more into brains, personality, not just looks, and Liema is just looks."Speaking on Buhle, Tumi described their connection as “real” and revealed he made arrangements to get in touch with her now that he is officially out of the house.
"That's my girl, bro. It wasn't just for show for the people. To me, it was real."Reflecting on his time with former housemate Dene Jones, the barber claimed they had a genuine connection; however, it was not meant to be, as he had already started a relationship with Buhle B.
